Guess who's a big girl now :)

Yesterday, Makenna had to have TWO baby teeth extracted!! Her bottom permanent teeth are coming in and her baby teeth weren't budging. I took her to the dentist to check it out and the dentist said it would be good to take them out. She did so great at the dentist! She's in a little pain now though. And its also cute hearing her talk with a lisp. LOL

I got a free photoshoot session from my friend Brandi (who did Makenna's ballet and our Christmas photos) of Shane. A sneakpeak of him is on my facebook, if you wanna check it out! He did great at the session. I can't wait to see how the rest of them turn out!

Father's day weekend...

We spent another weekend in FL, for Father's day this past weekend. Mike and his friend Timmy did a 2K surf paddle to benefit the Leukemia and Lymphoma society. It was a blast!









Makenna also finished Dance Camp this past week. She had a great time and made some new friends :)

lots o' updates...

Sorry it's been so long since I've updated...It has been a crazy busy summer!! We are busy everyday and weekends we seem to always be gone. We just got back from a weekend at Ft. Walton beach visiting Jamie, my sister's hubby. We had so much fun!

Jamie was staying in a nice 3 bedroom suite, and of course Makenna had a blast in the pool. The beach unfortunately was full of seaweed, so we only went one day. I also got to see my friend Pam who lives there.

What a weekend!

We had a great time hanging out with Mike's cousin Donna and visiting Mitch and Shelly over at Satellite beach this Memorial Day weekend!! Makenna and Shane both had a BLAST, and loved the beach and the pool so much! Shane was getting very brave in the ocean! He had so much fun and I loved hearing him laugh and seeing him smile so much! Makenna did really good swimming- I was wondering if she had remembered how from last summer, but she picked it right back up.

This week will be busy for Mike at work..he's on 12 hour shifts and very busy. I will have to post pictures of the weekend later, because he is in the room sleeping right now (and the computer with the pictures are in the room)

Cool Dude

Can't wait for the holiday weekend!! Tomorrow we are leaving after Mike gets off of work and We are going to the Cocoa Beach/Patrick AFB area. Mike's cousin Donna is gonna go with us and we are meeting old friends Mitch and Shell y. Should be fun! Here are some pics of Shane getting ready having fun with sunglasses!

Makenna's Preschool graduation

Makenna graduated from preschool today! Hard to believe she will be in Kindergarten this year. I know everyone says it but wow, this year has flown by! The ceremony was really cute. Her school really goes all out!
I am still trying to upload her ballet recital too- hopefully i can get the video up soon!

Makenna's first ballet recital!

I have been trying for the last 2 days to post a video of Makenna's performance! I hope it works this time!

Makenna did AWESOME in the recital!!! She was not shy at all, she smiled so big during the performance! I wish you could have been there!

Shane is doing much better. The doc did mention again that he needs to get his tonsils out fairly soon, because like Makenna's, they are very large for his age. Still waiting on the call from his doc for his neurology appointment and also need to get some bloodwork done.

May updates...

Ok.. so my goal is to start blogging at least 2 or 3 times a week again! I've been neglecting this blog and it makes me sad :(

This past week Makenna has been busy with rehearsing for her ballet recital this Saturday! Wish you all could make it!

hello :)

May is looking to become a busy month for us! Makenna is getting ready for her ballet/tap recital on May 15th, and we are so excited! She is also graduating from preschool this year!! I can't believe I will have a her in Kindergarten in September!

This past Monday we drove to Macon for Shane's follow -up appointment with his biomed doc in Macon. She was happy to see the positive changes in Shane - Less dark circles under his eyes, more vocalizations, laughing a lot more, and making more eye contact. She upped his vitamin regimen and started him on a yeast protocol for his leaky gut syndrome.

I will try to get some pics up soon!

Please pray for Mike's grandmother who recently had a stroke and is now under hospice care.

Spring Break

Sorry its been so long since I posted something! we had a super fun Easter and spring break week with Mike's cousin Donna, who drove down from South Carolina to be with us. She left yesterday, but now I'm really sick with the flu or something. I had a high fever and have been feeling just really crappy. Here are some pics of our Easter/Spring break week!
