Mikes going to Las Vegas tomorrow again for a week and a half. He is stopping by Tucson for the night to visit friends Joe and Andy.
I leave for Japan in 1 month!!!!
Makenna was supposed to start school next Monday, but they moved back the start date to September 2. Kind of a bummer for me because I will be in Japan for her first day of school :( I hope she will be ok!!!
Shane is doing a little better with speech therapy. He is starting to pay attention now and is vocalizing a little more. He goes to the therapist willingly and without me so that is a good sign!

Been a while...
It's been a while since I posted... but we are finally getting a camera today!! We have a birthday party to go to this afternoon and then this evening I am babysitting for a friend and ill take pics and post it up.
Makenna and Shane have been doing their speech therapy twice a week and its going good! People say that they can see a difference, that Makenna has been talking a lot more. Shane is a little stubborn and hardheaded during his sessions though - it takes a lot to get him to say anything - the speech therapist has to bribe him with chocolate, and even then it takes a while for him to respond.
I can't believe Makenna will be starting school in 2 weeks. I have been trying to get her to wake up earlier, but she does love to sleep in. She will be in school from 8:30 - 11:30 Monday - Friday. Right now she is waking up at 8:30ish so i have to try to get her to wake up an hour earlier so I can feed her, dress her and all those things.

Florida bound again?
We might be going to Florida again this weekend! Not sure yet though, Mike may have to work and I have a baby shower on Saturday to go to. But I guess there is a hurricane brewing which is making some good waves for surfing.
Janell came home from New Zealand and told me that I HAD to try the cereal Wheetabix. So I search the internet to find out if they sold it here and they do, at one store, Publix. I went and bought it yesterday and ate practically half the box. Its really good. Not sweet at all, but the texture is flaky and its organic! She also told me to try TimTam cookies but I can't find it here.
Mom if you are reading this: when are you sending more pics of Justin's baby Shai?

back from Florida
We had a great time in Florida with my friend Adrienne and her family! Unfortunately our camera completely broke down finally- not just the flash, now its not taking any pictures at all, but here are some pics from Adriennes camera:
For the 4th of July, Adrienne had a block party, and we met a lot of her neighbors and had a great time. Makenna and Shane loved Adriennes 3 kids, they are older, so they helped take care of them. Today (Sunday) we all went to Crescent beach which is in St. Augustine, and Mike had a chance to go surfing with Adriennes husband, Tim. It was so much fun!

Happy 4th of July!
We are off to Jacksonville, Fl, for the 4th of July weekend, to visit my friend Adrienne! Mike finally came home! Ill try to post up pics when we get back!
