Shane Update

Went to Shane's 2 year appointment this morning. I told the doctor my concerns, and he agreed that Shane should be evaluated more. I filled out a long form with all kinds of questions. There were different sections, Fine Motor, Gross Motor, Communication, and Social skills. In the gross motor section, he did really well, but not so good in all the other categories. So, the doc is referring Shane to a developmental pediatrician. The only bad thing is, there is none locally here in Valdos ta! So I may have to drive all the way to Atlanta to have him seen. Not sure when his appt. will be. The nurse said it could be a long process. Keep you updated!
